Abstract

|
The studies were conducted to investigate the mitigatory effects in toxicity of cyclophosphamide through combined usage of Nokyongdaebo-Tang and Oryung-San.
The administration of Nokyongdaebo-Tang and Oryung-San recovered body weight reduced by treatment with cyclophosphamide. It was observed that renal toxicity of which scale is increase of blood urea nitrogen value and hepatotoxicity of which scale is increase of GOT and GPT when the mice was treated with cyclophosphamide were decreased by treatment with Nokyongdaebo-Tang. The number of platelet was decreased i mice which was administered cyclophosphamide, but recovered by treatment with Nokyongdaebo-Tang.
